Final Production

 This is my final production:

Post Production week

Hello welcome back to my blog. Today we are going to talk about how the process we are currently going through. Our process The process that we are going through is very stressful yet it fulfills us with joy. After we finished the script, storyboard, and every other item in the process of starting film, ideas started to emerge in our minds. Instead of flash forward we thought of doing a flashback and instead of recording in this area we will record here. Just lots of ideas starting to form that we would re-look our own script. I feel this normal. For example, when your writing an essay or going to order food you wouldn't have too many ideas at first but when actually are doing you start having many ideas. We actually started film on Wednesday February 23 but we didn’t finished and had to redo it. It was so stressful to shot because of distractions and other people who didn’t know of then project just coming up and asking questions or just watching in general.  Most current  Curren

Production calendar

Today we will talk about production calendars. This probably wont be too long because production calendars are an feasible concept in filming. We will talk about what a production calendar is and why its important during filming.  What is a production calendar and why is it important?  A production calendar is a type of calendar which consist of the list of dates that you will be shooting your film. The production calendar is very beneficial towards filming. Just like the strip board, it keeps you organized and makes sure that your not over the place. When shooting you want to make sure everything makes sense so a production calendar makes sure you have everything in order. My group production calendar has helped us see what days we wanted to film. It was very useful because we got more organized even though the date had to change a couple of times. Conclusion   In conclusion, the production calendar is a very key important thing into completing your film. Of course it is hard work to

Strip boarding

Today we are going to talk about strip boarding. Strip boarding is another important key to filming our opening scene. Lets just get right into it. What is strip boarding? Strip boarding is a chart containing color coded strips each strips containing information about a shot or scene in the films script. This is also somewhat of a calendar and can help you in creating your production calendar (there will be a blog for information on production calendar). This is a very important thing to do so you can be cognizant of what's going on in each scene. It can also help you film quicker. For example, in my groups strip board we have ours color coded by location. This is a very helpful technique because it helps you make filming everything a whole lot easier. It also helps you finish off shooting locations and ensures you that you don't have to go back and forth with locations. For our opening scene we have two locations. One which may consist of one our house or just use one of our

Storyboarding

Today ill be explaining what storyboarding is and why it is important in a film. This is going to be short because we aren't going to be very long because storyboarding is very simple and much easier since your not doing too much.   What is storyboarding?  Storyboarding is a graphic organizer that consists of illustration or graphic images in a certain sequence for a pre-visual motion picture animation of your film. Typically, this means that you have a visual of what each shot is going to be doing. The storyboard description gives further on what the picture is trying to show. For example, if your going to draw something that supposed to show a whip pan, you should make the description: "Camera goes into a whip pan....". This will help you better understand because you cant just rely on your mind remembering or a picture or drawing showing. A storyboard should take you about  2-3 days to make if have your script. why is storyboarding important? Storyboarding is important

About our film

Today I will talk about our film. We are going to talk about Who will be in the film, Where it will be, How it be made, and When we think we will be able to film. So lets get with this information about our film. Who will be in our film? The people in my group are: Ethan  Mayera  Xena  This was my choice because I wanted to be in a group with people who are cognizant of what they are doing. Sometimes I zone out when people are explaining something to me so sometimes I don’t know exactly what to do. They are also love to keep high grades and they keep me on task when I tend to slack off. Sometimes I know what I'm doing and am able to tell them what I remember hearing. What will we be doing? We will be doing a horror film. At first , I made the suggestion of doing horror comedy but when we were researching there were barely any horror comedies that were easy to find and horror movies kept popping up. Some shots/scenes will not follow the conventions of horror because we wanted somet
